Water...

Was basically kneeling in the water to take this shot! Glad I managed not to dunk my camera in the lake!

Dusk...

Looking up the tall tree into the slowly darkening sky, taken on Sunday on a walk along the railway line. Do quite like this shot!

Spring...

Couldn't decide which photo to put on today, so to make up for the days i have missed out, here you are! These are from yesterday when i went for a walk round the lake.

The Lakes...

 These days make me realise how much beauty is in the place I live! This is the stone cut in half down by Derwent water in keswick.

Really love this! Just think its really cute how someone did this for someone else.

New dog...

My best friends new dog Pat! Couldn't resist taking a quick snap of it down by the lake! I say quick, but it take quite a long time to keep a dog still in order to catch a photo!

Thunder...

Really does look like its about to thunder and lightning in this photo! Never the less i do rather like it because of how the black and white has picked out the different lighting in the sky.

Dull days...

Even though its a rather dull photo, I still quite like it! This was taken at castle head on this gloomy day! I like tallness of the tree stretching into the grey, cloudy sky.

Cats...

I chose this photo today simply because of the cats eyes and fur. I saw it as a walked down a plain, dull, simple road today, and it just gave the whole street a little bit of magic. With its snow white, smooth fur, and its gleeming yellow eyes, it was truly hard to miss!

Nature is a beautiful thing...

This old, mossy branch that has fallen to the ground has turned out to be one of the favourites out of the pictures I took last Saturday! Nature really is a pretty cool thing...

Flow...

I Know i've already done a picture using the slow shutter, but i quite liked this one so thought, 'why not'!? Just need to perfect the art of slow shutter now! 

Litter...

Doesn't matter where you are, if you in a city or in the middle of no-where, you cant fail but to find litter. This litter however turned out to make a pretty cool picture, if i can say so myself!

Days out...

First blog in a while sorry! This was taken in newlands valley this afternoon using the slow shutter on my camera! Just only figured out how to work that today but pretty chuffed with this shot! Ahhh.

Think i'm falling in love with the sky...

Sorry for not posting in a while! Been busy...
I know i've already done pictures of the setting sun, but i can get over how beautiful the sky has been in the past few weeks! The joys of living in the lakes!

Time...

Life revolves around time. Especially today with the two exams I had at school! Constantly looking at the clock to see how long till the end of the lesson, watching the little red hand seem to go slower and slower just to annoy me! If only time went fast even if your not having fun!

Zoom in...

I know I havnt put a pic on for quite a few days, but here! This is a zoom in of a church about half a mile away from my house! Its a bit blurry, but its only because the zoom is at its max. Beautiful sunset

Hearts...

I love this heart. This 'Cath Kidstone' style, blue, dotted heart. So thought i would take a picture of it!

Wow...

Amazing. This was the sky tonight! I took it leaning out my attic window, on my camera on the 'sunset' setting. The colours are actually beautiful! Wow.

Love...

Dont have much to say about this pic today! Just that love is important. Never forget that.

Last of the Christmas decor...

Only a couple of weeks after Christmas, put most of the festive decorations away in their dusty old cardboard boxes, back in the attic. Apart from the few that manage to stay out just that little bit longer than the rest. And this year, it seems to be the crimbo lights! Quite glad they haven't been put away yet! A few shimmery lights manage to slightly cheer up the dull world outside at this time of year! Thought i'd take a picture of them while I can!

Colour in a dull world...

Here's my second picture blog! These flowers seem like the only speck of colour in the world right now! Its so rainy and dull at this time of year! I love these flowers. They sit right outside my window in my living room, which when I look out the window, brighten up my view! Beautiful.

On this rainy day...

So today has been a really rainy day. I have been stuck inside doing homework all day, and one of my homework's was to paint a butterfly for art. This is my watercolour block, pretty obvious really, but i took a picture of it because this is something that interests me! Anyway, that's my first photo blog. Shall update tomorrow! Bye!
